Just ten weeks after tournament ambassador Angelique Kerber converted her match point on the Spielbank Bad Homburg Centre Court, advance ticket sales for the second edition of the Bad Homburg Open from June 18 to 25, 2022, have begun.

Last year’s debut event under challenging conditions is to be followed by a carefree tennis festival with Wimbledon flair for the entire region. An “Open Day” is planned for the Bad Homburg Open 2022 (June 18/Saturday), on which access to the qualifying matches on Matchcourts 1 and 2 will be free of charge and possible without a ticket. World-class tennis up close – for fans young and old.

Dear Tennis Fans, Dear Ticket Holders,

Aware of the ongoing global pandemic and in close consultation with the Hochtaunuskreis health authority, we have developed a comprehensive hygiene and testing concept. During the tournament week, up to 300 spectators are permitted per day who have already re-booked their previous-year tickets for the Bad Homburg Open 2021 and …

…can present a negative SARS-CoV-2 antigen rapid test*

…have been fully vaccinated (a vaccination certificate must be presented) **

…have fully recovered (proof of recovery must be presented) ***

*The SARS-CoV-2 antigen rapid test carried out by a local test centre must not be older than 24 hours.

** Proof of vaccination in the form of a vaccination certificate or adequate proof in digital form, which certifies a full vaccination against the Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 with a state-approved vaccine (i.e. two vaccine doses of the Biontech/Pfizer AstraZeneca and Moderna vaccines or one Johnson&Johnson vaccination dose, respectively), whereby a minimum of 14 days from the last required dose of  the vaccination must have elapsed (i.e. after the second administration of the vaccine; with respect to persons vaccinated with the Johnson&Johnson vaccine, after the first and only dose of the vaccine).

*** Proof of full recovery in the form of a written or digitally recorded PCR test for a positive Coronavirus-SARS-CoV-2 infection; the infection, however, must date back at least 28 days and not more than 6 months (if exceeding the period of 6 months, proof of a single vaccination dose must be provided).

Ticket Information

Since only a limited number of spectators are permitted in the stands due to the valid hygiene regulations, we apologize for any inconvenience that not all ticket wishes could be fulfilled with respect to re-booking your tickets. Also we would have been very happy to celebrate the premiere of the Bad Homburg Open presented by Engel & Völkers together with all of you at the Kurpark had the circumstances been different.

All 2020 ticket holders who, despite all efforts, were not able to re-book their ticket for the upcoming event have the following two options:

You can keep the tickets which will automatically be valid for the Bad Homburg Open 2022 event (same weekday & category).

The ticket price can be reimbursed.

In case of questions regarding your booking please contact our ticket partner Reservix via the telephone hotline at +49-(0)1806-700733.

Reimbursement of Your Tickets

You would like us to reimburse your ticket? Please email us at info[at] stating your four-digit code (found on the ticket below the barcode). Please understand that due to the high administrative effort, the reimbursement process may presumably take until the end of July 2021.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to purchase any more tickets for the Bad Homburg Open 2021 due to the reduced spectator capacity.

The Bad Homburg Open presented by Engel & Völkers will take place from 20.06.2021 to 26.06.2021 in the Bad Homburg Kurpark (spa park).
